[RESOLVED] Instabilities with Forceware 270.x

Post by Guest 2 »

I got instabilities with previous 270.x and now they are confirmed with WHQL 270.61.

With forceware 26x.x and latest MEGUI_X64 I was able to open another AVS (using dgnv as source) while encoding another job (dgnv source too) to x264.

If I try with 270.x, CUVID crashes.

Don't know if it's DGNV, MEGUI_x64 or forceware fault, need help to understand.

The 270.x has changed something in CUDA, don't know if it could be the cause.

All I can think of is the new drivers need more graphics card memory and you run out with the second instance now.

How much memory do you have on your card?

Generally, I discourage multiple simultaneous encoding like you are doing.

It's a GTX 460 with 1GB of memory. I assume it's not a memory problem =)

These are very old drivers and the issue has not been reported for the latest ones. Closing this thread. Open a new one if needed.
