[RESOLVED] TimecodeScale != 1000000

Post by SubJunk »

Continuing our email correspondence.
If I split the file using mkvmerge I no longer get the error, so uploading the split won't help.
The file download is 10.1GB and split into .rar files so I don't know if you want to use that much bandwidth, but let me know if you want the link.

Did you make the MKV? If so, make a smaller one. Obviously I need a stream sample, so don't make me beg for it.

I didn't make the original MKV, and to quote the first post:

If there is any other information I can provide please let me know, and please remember that I am doing this for your benefit; the error makes no difference to me, since the program still runs after the error :)

Yeah, I really need to spend my time hunting down obscure, rare bugs that nobody cares about without any means to replicate the problem. ;)

Is it so hard to give me a link to the entire stream, or a set af RAR files, whatever? I won't ask again.

I have offered to give you the link to the set of rar files in the first post but until now you haven't said you wanted them. PMing you the link now.

Give me a break, I asked twice for a stream.

There seems to be a frequent miscommunication between us where you assume I will pick up on an implication you made, but I am hesitant to follow assumptions - even if I have recognised it - because if they are wrong I will have wasted time, as has been the case many times in the past.
So our communication might be more efficient and less frustrating if we try to speak as plainly as possible :)

Maybe English isn't your first language?

It is, but maybe it would help for you to pretend it isn't :)

I have your stream now and have duplicated the issue. In fact, this is not an error condition at all and I can't remember why I added that popup. I'll remove it for the next release. For now, just dismiss the popup and continue.
