double-framerate deinterlace bug

Post by hydra3333 »

Greetings,

Is the double-framerate deinterlacing bug mentioned here http://forum.doom9.org/showthread.php?p ... ost1391242 somehow fixed in the latest release (of NV or the nvidia drivers for the 8800GT) ? A quick test appears to suggest not. Is it likely to have a fix ?

ie
After frame 0 of a deinterlacing operation using NV's deinterlace=2 the resulting frames are "out" by one frame as compared to other deinterlacers.
The "interim" workaround is to trim(1,-999999) the NV-deinterlaced clip.

edit: thanks. link fixed.
I really do like it here.

There is currently no fix possible. You'll have to continue using your workaround.

BTW, your link is dead.
