I use x264 to make intermediate lossless files before the final encode. When I try to use DGIndexNV (64 or 32 bit), I get some funky distortion. The video itself plays back just fine in MPC-HC, but it's when try to index it I get the effect.
My x264 command line is: x264 --crf 0 --preset ultrafast --tune film -o *.mkv *.avs
The video comes out just fine when using --CRF 17 and --preset slow, which would be final encode setting. But that defeats the point of of 64-bit workflow.
Here a 5-second sample:

Could someone run it through DGIndexNV and see what they think?
It's kind of a cool, psychodelic effect, I suppose.
Thanks,
Sean
[RESOLVED] Could someone take a look at this?
Re: Could someone take a look at this?
CUVID does not support lossless x264.
Re: Could someone take a look at this?
Ah, all right. I save quite a bit of time encoding lossless segments of video in parallel, and DGIndexNV gives a really nice boost on top of that. I learned how to do all this last night, but it never occurred to me re-encoding those lossless segments was not supported in CUVID.
Thanks for your help and quick reply! The NV tools you made are great.
