[RESOLVED] DGDecNV SLI Issue

Post by tObber166 »

Hi!

First, thanks to the creator for great software.

First problem:
When trying to decode any videosource using DGDecNV 2048 with SLI on, the result is this:

Also tried 2047, same thing.
As soon as I disable SLI, I don't get this error.

So I suspect this is Nvidia driver problem, as it has worked flawless before using the 337.88 driver with SLI enabled.
I am now using 340.52 driver.
And after some reading @ nvidia forums, I found out that Nvidia has done some changes with the CUDA /NVENC API, with their latest driver. Could this be the problem?

anyone else experienced this problem?

Second Problem:
When trying to decode a lossless x264 encode (qp=0)I get this:

But it plays fine using MPC-HC or VLC player.
Ain't DGDecNV capable of decoding lossy format?

(sorry for bad english)

/ Cheers

CUVID does not support lossless. I'll look into the SLI issue.

Sorry for late reply (only 6 months lol :D)

Problem has been solved, since long time ago.
Admin can mark this thread as "resolved"

No idea what caused this issue, but ever since driver "344.11"(if I remember correctly) and forward, I have not encountered this problem anymore.

//Thanks anyways
