[RESOLVED] Which NVIDIA cards are supported?

Post by Selur »

Should all cards listed at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CUDA#Supported_GPUs work with DGDecNV or are there some minimal requirements? (in example a specific computation compatibility or VPX-Chip version)

Cu Selur

ps.:

See here:

You need G84 or better for 2046 and before. For 2047+ you also need compute capability 1.1 or better.

Sorry but what is this--I don't find "Compute Capability" on that chart.

EDIT: Maybe you mean "OpenCL Support"...? That looks like it.

@admin: do you have a larger version of that image or even better a CSV with the data?

I meant compute capability not OpenCL support. You can get that from the first column of the table you linked in your first post.

Problem with that table is that it does not contain all the cards that are listed in the list below it.

Sadly it's still to low resolution if I feed an ocr tool with it. ;)

Sorry I can't be held responsible for an external link content or your OCR deficiency. You'll have to research these things yourself.

The nVidia site has a comprehensive listing of CC per cards. We have the link here somewhere if you care to look, but it might be easier to go look on nvidia.com.

All this information is available online. You can go search for it as easily as me. ;)

Is NVIDIA® Quadro® product family supported by DGDecNV? Or only GeForce?
The png file which can be downloaded from the website refers only to Geforce cards.

I would like to buy a new "machine" including an NVIDIA® Quadro® K4200 4GB and use with DGDecNV through BD-rebuilder.
Your answer would be really appreciated.

Quadro supports PureVideo so you should be good to go. Give it a try and if things don't work out I'll refund you.

Of course it works fine with Quadro series, personally I use it with K600, K2100M and 1000M ;)
