Post a link to a representative sample and I'll see what I can do.

That's really kind.

A have copied the first 100Mb of the file output by VideoReDo (and subsequently used by DGIndexNV and MeGUI as per the log posted earlier).

Code: Select all

Fingers crossed. :-)

 Progress and news are reported in the News forum. If you don't see anything there then nothing has happened.

If you are in fact asking for the probability of that feature being added "soon", then I would have to disappoint you by informing you that it is very low on my priority list, and in fact is so low that you may take it as zero.

Blue Sky (not likely) Enhancements
...
4:2:2 and 4:4:4 support (requires CUVID support)
I'm working with Sony MXF 4:2:2 MPEG-2 1920x1080 source files currently with DGIndex/DGDecode and need faster processing.

From the To-Do List it looks like the NVidia deocders do not support 4:2:2. What is CUVID support? Is this the only thing stopping 4:2:2 decoding?

Thanks

SA

I'll check with nVidia about the status of these. At some time in the past it was planned.

Any chance that field order transition detection/correction could move up in priority? I have a couple channels that I record that seem to keep flip-flopping and its driving me crazy. I have to keep reverting to dgmpgdec which is soooo slow for whatever reason...idk. Thanks for the consideration!

I hope you're at least using the latest DGDecode.dll which has incorporated tremendous speed optimizations! ;)

Please provide a stream for my testing.

Yes, I'm using DGMPGDec 1.5.8. I'll provide a stream sample as soon as I encounter another transition. It will probably be Saturday.
