[SOLVED] Error: Unable to load DGDecodeNV.dll

Post by MrVideo » Fri Apr 26, 2019 1:37 pm

I had to rebuild a system that I use to recode videos, because two of the CPU voltage regulators blew their lids. . It was XP-64 and because it no longer has programs that need to only run on XP, I put Win7-64 on the new mobo.

Here is some info:

Code: Select all

avs [error]: LoadPlugin: unable to load "C:\Program Files (x86)\DGAVCDecNV\DGDecodeNV.dll", error=0xc1
(E:\\Elementary-HD-305-141127.avs, line 1)
v2053
GTX650Ti
NVIDIA 425.31
I have another Win7 box that is working. It has a GT730, running 399.07 and v2040.

No idea why the new box with the latest software is not running. Any clues, or need more info?

Edit: BTW, v2040 worked under XP-64. I do not know what version of nVidia driver was was using at the time, But 2040 and the driver listed does not work.

Should DGAVCDecNV be DGDecNV or do you copy the files to a different folder?

If it is not a path problem as gonca suggests then you are probably mixing 32 and 64 bit stuff. Note that the file locations in the distribution have changed. There is now a 32 bit subdir whereas previously there was a 64 bit subdir.

Also, Avisynth 2.5.8 is no longer supported for DGDecNV 2053.

The 2053 files that are in the zip are copied to the directory as indicated. Obviously I can call the directory whatever I want and a long time ago I set it up as indicted, so that it fully described what I had in there.

I did not even noticed that you are now defaulting to 64 bit executables. There was nothing in the ReadME about it. Once I copied the 32 bit files over the top of the 64 bit files, it now runs. Thanks. That was the hint that I needed.

I've been on 2.6.0 for ages.
