[RESOLVED] Regression issue slipstream 200

Hi,

today I downloaded latest slipstream version 200 and used it along with BD Rebuilder on a couple of short extras.
All of these were MPEG-4 AVC Full HD.
The resulting video and AVS files have garbled video output (black with a few big green horizontal bars for the first around 30 seconds.
All I could do today is going back to an older BD-RB version, but the problem persisted.
Unfortunately I do not longer have slipstream 188 which I used before, which didn't show up that behaviour.

Sorry that I don't have more information at the moment.

Can you post a link to a stream? Or would you like to upload it to my FTP? Can't do much without it.

Sure. Will do later as soon as I have access to my machine. I also found an older version on my NAS. Please let me know access to your ftp server

Hi Rocky,

upload is running (10 min remaining). Meanwhile I tested slipstream 196 with the same issue. I thought it could be a regression issue because I encoded some clips from the same disc without problem, but 196 behaves the same.
I created a very basic AVS script and encounter garbled output. When playing back the AVS in MPC-HC I can fast forward and the image restores to normal (only the beginning is distorted).
In DGIndexNV the image is fine all the time.
I'm very far away from being an expert. Your turn now :D

Code: Select all

LoadPlugin("C:\PATH\DGDecNV_2053\DGDecodeNV.dll")
DGSource("C:\PATH\TEST\01153_trimmed.dgi", fieldop=0)
Spline16Resize(1280,720)
ConvertToYV12().AssumeFPS(24000,1001)
Thank you in advance,
ggtop

Oh. It is a regression in 195->196, a change I made for Xunkar regarding RPS-IDR/I handling. Thank you for pointing it out, ggtop. Gonna have to revert it but I don't have Xunkar's file anymore to try to get both working. I have PM'ed him to see if he can send it again. My bad.

Reverted and thereby fixed in slipstream 201. Waiting for Xunkar to get in touch to revisit his issue.

Thank you for the update. There will be one more slipstream to fix this 100%. Handling of start codes split between transport packets was not correct for M2TS streams.

Happy to test 202 with some sources once it gets released.

Thank you for your fast support,
