@Guest 2

I just demuxed the ITA THD and obtained the following results (get file sizes from file properties windows):

DGDemux: 2,744,391,738
DGIndexNV: 2,744,391,738

This is the same as EAC3TO and all three are bit identical.

Maybe you are not using latest software versions (the errors are like those we had with earlier versions)? Or, smoking something? :scratch:

I won't go any further with the transcoding stuff till (!) this size matter is resolved.

EDIT: Sizes above were corrected.

til is a common mistake. You can use until or till. Trust me, I'm a native English speaker and worked as an editor for Bell Labs for 7 years. You can also verify usage through google.
TIL = today I learn

Damn millenials.

Just downloaded latest files from your server and the exe inside have same file date, size and CRC32 of mine.

The only thing I have changed from yesterday is the latest version of MKVExtract.exe inside DGIndexNV folder.

Now the funny part: all the 3 software produce the same file size BUT it is DIFFERENT from yours and the same as the eac3to version of yesterday test.

2.675.189.696 [eng] DGDemux.thd
2.675.189.696 [eng] DGIndexNV.thd
2.675.189.696 [eng] eac3to.thd
2.744.391.738 [ita] DGDemux.thd
2.744.391.738 [ita] DGIndexNV.thd
2.744.391.738 [ita] eac3to.thd

I am using x64 version of DGIndexNV, DGDemux and MKVExtract. Are you using x86 or x64?

What do DGIndexNV and DGDemux use to demux a BD folder?

That is so strange.

Oops, I previously posted size on disk. I have edited it to correct that. So I have:

DGDemux: 2,744,391,738
DGIndexNV: 2,744,391,738
EAC3TO: 2,744,391,738

All bit identical. Is there still an issue? I'm thinking you inadvertently had old versions for your initial testing.

MKVExtract is irrelevant for MPLS. I use x64.

I use my own code to demux. Surely you know that. :?

Nope, unless you want to investigate why we have different file sizes.

Nope. I downloaded latest file versions and checked file size, file date and checksum.

So strange.

What are you talking about? We do not have different file sizes!

My size: DGDemux: 2,744,391,738
Your size: 2.744.391.738 [ita] DGDemux.thd

And files cannot be bit identical and have different sizes.

I'm wasting valuable time on this.
I put lot of efforts to understand on my own before posting, that's why I am so silent for long periods of time.

I would never waste your or my time.
