I have encountered on my way a so called MGVC bluray, i.e. Mononoke hime (Princess Mononoke) from Studio Ghibli.
It seems there is no way to demux with DGDecNV.
Will try some experiments, perhaps from Monday or so.
Someone has ideas about it?

[CLOSED] MGVC bluray
Re: MGVC bluray
Ain't never heard of that. Sounds pretty niche and proprietary. Do you have a disk that you cannot demux? Tell us what issues you run into.
Re: MGVC bluray
MGVC is a way too proprietary solution, only few Panasonic players can play it.
8 bit part is accessible as a regular BD, but 2-10 bit stream coded some sneaky way that didn't figured out howto decrypt that.

Re: MGVC bluray
Yep, I could at least remux it with MakeMKV to mkv for the ordinary part. Then DGIndexNV did its job.
I hope someone had a solution to demux the 12 bit video but I have found nothing around.
Anyway I posted here as DGIndexNV couldn't correctly demux the BD. Perhaps some strange stream.
I have tried a different approach and I could demux with DGIndexNV too.
Re: MGVC bluray
I don't rule out doing anything with it, but I will need a pointer to a disk to purchase.
You haven't answered my question about the specific issue you run into. "couldn't correctly demux" tells me nothing. And then you say a different approach was successful. What was that different approach?
