Hello (still Donald around?),
Like apparently a few other ones here, I'm an old user of DGDecNV and lost sight of the the UserID I got when I registered...
A few years later, as I'm going to change my good old laptop in a few days, I'll need to generate a new licence so I'll need to get back my UserID.
I saw in other posts you asked to send you the email adress used to register initially. I think I know wich one I used, but where do I send it : do you have a specific email adress for that, or can I send it to you by PM ?
As I'm not quite sure of the adress I used I can also send you my existing licence file, if maybe you can "reverse-engineer" it to find its origin ?
Related question :
I saw that you're now proposing DGDecIM that supports QuickSync (which my new laptop will have).
I understood that it should use the same licence as DGDecNV (or not?), but when I tried to test DGDecIM with my old DGDecINV licence file it didn't work.
Then I noticed that the MachineID I get from DGDecIM is different to the one appearing in the About section of my DGDecINV : is it normal ?
Regards,
Erwan

Sorry, reverse engineering is not possible. You can also check your paypal history and send me your transaction ID. My licensing scheme would be pretty lame if it could be easily reverse engineered. Last resort...I'll just give you a new ID as you seem like a decent chap.As I'm not quite sure of the adress I used I can also send you my existing licence file, if maybe you can "reverse-engineer" it to find its origin ?
It is not normal if you use the latest versions of both programs. Please re-download the latest versions from my website. Don't go by the version number because I tend to silently update things (slipstream). You'll need to recover your user ID first to be able to download the binaries.I saw that you're now proposing DGDecIM that supports QuickSync (which my new laptop will have).
